The BIGGEST Announcements At The 2021 Game Awards.

The 2021 Game Awards gave us plenty of new titles for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S/One & Switch. So without any further ado here are the latest trends you need to know about…

1. ) “The Expanse: A Telltale Series”: Fans will step into the shoes of Camina Drummer, voiced by Cara Gee, who played her in the series. The Expanse doesn’t have a release date just yet. All we know at the moment is that the game is heading to the PC in the near future.

2. ) “Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’: The expansion, Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, is scheduled for release in Summer 2022 on PC and Nintendo Switch.

3. ) “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2’: An action-adventure video game currently in development by Ninja Theory. The game’s in early development. No release date or other information was given.

4. ) ‘Star Wars Eclipse’: An upcoming video game by Quantic Dream set during the High Republic Era. According to Tom Henderson, Star Wars Eclipse is at least 3 to 4 years away from being released. Quantic Dream’s Paris and Montreal studios are working together on the project with Paris handling the narrative.

5. ) “Wonder Woman”: I can’t wait to get my hands on this title! Currently in the works from Monolith Productions, DC, and Warner Bros. Don’t expect this game until 2023 at the earliest.

6. ) ‘Alan Wake 2’: Remedy Entertainment will release Alan Wake 2 in 2023 for Xbox Series X, PS5, and Windows PC. This is one of the best survival horror games on the market.

7. ) ‘Horizon Forbidden West’:  The much-anticipated sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn: Horizon Forbidden West is set to be released on February 18, 2022, for the PS4 and PS5.

8.) “Slitterhead”: A new horror game from the creator of Silent Hill. The game doesn’t have a solid release date just yet. We’ll learn more about its developments in 2022.

9.) “Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course”: The expansion DLC for “Cuphead” will be released on June 30, 2022. DLC levels will take you to the undiscovered Inkwell Isle. Where new magical charms and weapons will help you take on new bosses.

10.) ‘Sonic Frontiers’: This open-world adventure is due out during the holiday season in 2022.

11.) “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”: An upcoming action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is set to be released in 2022 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Windows.

12.) “Forspoken”: An exciting action role-playing game in development by Luminous Productions, part of Square Enix. It’s expected to be released Spring of 2022 for PS5 & Microsoft Windows.

13.) ‘Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’: Set to be released for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 & PC on March 25, 2022. It seems to be a reincarnation of the Borderlands series.

14.) “Crossfire”: Will have a Free-Play Multiplayer Component along with a Paid Single-Player Campaign that’s being co-developed by Remedy. The release date is set for February 10, 2022.

15.) ‘Elden Ring’: An upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a collaborative effort between game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, and is scheduled to be released for PS4, PS 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on February 25, 2022.
